The Royal Flush is an ultra-dynamic kayak, that excels in deep waters, but doesn’t mind a low water creek run either.
Fast, faster, Royal Flush
The Royal Flush delivers, especially if you are an active and pronounced paddler. If you are a rather reactive paddler and like low volume creeks, the Ace of Spades might be the better boat for you. But if you like to pull the stick and swing the hips, know how to load and release your stern in deep water, the Royal Flush is your „Hattori Hanzo sword“ of extreme white water weapons.
Float high and run dry
High volume kayaks usually mean heavy weights, because the surface area of the hull grows with the volume. This is why we limited the volume of the Royal Flush to 335 liters. In order to still float high and run dry we chose a long and flat bottom.
Precise and true to the line
The ends are wide and medium volume. That way the fast and easy accelerating 274 cm long boat, turns on a dime with only a sweep stroke, but stays true to the line and precise in big water. This makes a dynamic boat that we love for coaching on Slovenia’s class 3, but also as weapon of choice for the annual trip down Norway’s big water runs.
Comfort and safety
Our fully integrated seat-rail-tower combo enables ergonomic seating ever over long periods on the water. The tower supports the cockpit area in pinned situations and over large drops. It also can be used as an emergency step for a safe exit in critical situations.
When fitting out the boat, we focussed consistently onergonomics andweight optimisation: Thanks to the smart design of parts, we have created a sturdy cockpit for a direct and ergonomic interface between the paddler and the boat’s hull. The footrest, thigh braces, seat, hip pads and backrest are all tailored to the ergonomics of a paddler for an untiring day on the river.
